About AuraSync X

The story, the tech, and the future of your favorite media hub.

Our Story

AuraSync X began as a passion project by Stephen Alfred, a developer based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Inspired by the classic visualizers of the early 2000s and a love for modern web technology, the goal was to create a beautiful, private, and powerful media player that runs entirely in the browser. What started as a simple particle visualizer grew into a comprehensive suite, all while holding true to the core principle: your data is your own.

Technology Stack

This project stands on the shoulders of giants. It's built with a focus on modern, open-source technologies that allow for a fast and responsive user experience.

Creator & Lead Developer

A history and politics enthusiast from Nova Scotia, I believe in leveraging technology to create open and accessible tools for everyone. When not coding, I enjoy biking and exploring the rich history of my home province. This project is a testament to the idea that powerful applications can be built with privacy and user freedom as the top priorities.

Project Roadmap

The journey is far from over. Here are some of the features and improvements planned for the future:

  • More advanced visualization options and greater customization.
  • Support for additional audio and video formats.
  • Improved playlist import/export functionality.
  • Light theme for enhanced accessibility.
  • Community-sourced radio station lists.
